A LESSON TO BUILD ON

In 2019, when building Drop Bio Health, we were torn between two diagnostic platforms that would drive our at-home blood testing strategy. I did something simple, but uncommon. I sent a LinkedIn message to the CEOs of both companies. Only one replied: the CEO of Luminex, a global leader in diagnostic technologies used in hormone and protein measurement for diseases screening and testing. His team didn’t just respond, they leaned in. What began as a supply conversation turned into a co-development partnership with one of their partners, Bio-Techne. This chain of events dramatically accelerated our R&D roadmap.

Leadership Lesson: Don’t wait for the perfect pitch. A clear ask and direct outreach can open doors that proposals never will.

AN ANSWER TO HELP YOU MOVE FASTER

I’m having a lot of partnership conversations but nothing is closing. How do I increase my close rate? I was asked this question from the crowd this week. Here’s my answer:

This is a common issue and instead of showing you the steps to follow, here is an ChatGPT-based coaching assistant to help.

It will walk you through, step-by-step, how to move deals from conversation to close (and show you how to gracefully exit if there’s not a partnership to be had).

3 things to note:

  1. You can use it even if you’re on a free ChatGPT plan (no special access required)
  2. Your answers are 100% private. No one (not even ChatGPT or me) can see what you enter or what you receive. This is your space to think clearly and plan confidently
  3. You can revisit this assistant as many times as you like
